The Pighin family has cultivated its passion for vineyards and wine since 1963. The estate has always been family-run and has always pursued a policy focused on constantly enhancing the holdings and the wines produced while fulfilling all of the fundamental duties, especially respecting tradition and the environment. The rooster is the distinctive symbol that has always adorned the Pighin winery. A symbol of the land and of fertility, it also personofies sunlight, heralded by its crowing, as is testified by its presence in ancient depictions of Apollo, also called Phoebus, meaning “radiant”. Therefore, the personality of the brand, an actual coat of arms, ocon of the noble rural quality that accompanies each bottle of Pighin wine, also endows the winery with an unmistakable identity.
