“We want to indulge you with our expressive, high quality wine.”
In our family, viniculture has been tradition since 1708. A tradition that we have been cultivating in our vineyards as well as in our house which was built back in 1830. For generations, we’ve been admiring and respecting nature, because it’s her who forms the basis for our daily work. Our wine obtains a distinctive character through a close to nature crop growing in the vineyard and a nature-oriented wine production. Our vineyards are steep. Spoiled by the sun, they are located in a narrow side valley of the Nahe and in Rheinhessen, safe from wind and rain. In a small area, the steep slopes of our vineyards offer a wide range of different soil types. Deeply rooting vines get their minerals from the lower soil layers and bin them within their grapes.
Consistintly reviewed in the Wine Spectator and Wine Advocate as a top producer from the heart of Germany’s wine producing region.
